As reported by the New York Post, Zoetis Petcare surveyed 2,000 cat and dog owners about their spending more time at home with their pets during the pandemic. In that poll, 81% of those surveyed said they felt closer to their pets than ever before, and three-quarters of them said they wanted to give their pets a better quality of care as a reward for the pets being there for them.
“Seventy-two percent of respondents said they’re taking better care of their pet than ever before,” the Post reported, “including giving them more treats, taking them on more walks and cuddling or petting them more often.”
